My Story
I have dedicated over 30 years to serving as a Senior Sales Leader, achieving outstanding results in Business and Sales Management.
Most recently, I held the position of Chief Growth Officer at 1031 CORP., a national qualified intermediary for 1031 exchanges. In this role, I was responsible for servicing all existing accounts and expanding their presence in national markets.​
Prior to that, I served as Managing Director for COMPASS Real Estate, overseeing the company's expansion into the North and South Carolina regions. I acted as Broker in Charge for five sales offices and managed 400 sales associates.​
For the majority of my real estate career, I was the Senior Vice President at the largest Berkshire Hathaway real estate franchise in the country. I managed a team of 20 Sales Managers and 1,500 Sales Agents, who collectively closed over 10,400 sales units. During my tenure, I successfully recruited over 250 experienced and new sales agents.​
I have extensive experience in Sales Management, Agent Coaching, and Recruiting, which includes establishing and tracking business plans, setting sales goals and quotas, designing and implementing accountability systems, and conducting senior-level strategic planning, as well as coordinating mergers and acquisitions.

Ted is regarded as a trusted advisor for over 35 years, working with multi-national, national, middle-market and sole ownership companies. His talent lies in his ability to understand and articulate strategic endgames and map out comprehensive and ‘doable’ plans.

His background includes leading venture capital backed start-ups as the President – in all cases defining/redefining strategy and execution metrics. His understanding of all businesses is firsthand, for example, he pursued, bought, transformed and divested (with his own funds) multiple companies in various industries, including real estate.
He has a strong background in business valuation and assessments and understands the criteria for proving business valuation, such as industry type and fit, business location, cash flow and asset affects as well as intangibles such as growth opportunity and marketplace momentum.
